Like every year, France Télévisions' back-to-school conference, styled after Delphine Ernotte, has the feel of a TedX conference on the state of the world as it is (badly). This Tuesday, July 8, was no exception to tradition: the president of public television spoke of an era "that can legitimately be frightening, " a world "eaten away by individualism and libertarianism," with these "oracles of free speech" who tell us "what we should love, what we should read, what we should think." Within this, France Télévisions is a "force for reconciliation," which "contributes to bringing the country together." The slogan for the 2025-2026 season? "Liberty, equality, france.tv," no less.
